Ørbæk bryggeri
Ørbæk bryggeri blev grundlagt i 1906 af familien Madsen i Ørbæk i vis ejerskab, det var i tre generationer. Bryggeriet blev bygget som et malt- og hvidtølsbryggeri i 1914. På Fyn blev bryggeriet specielt kendt for dets Stakitøl, som blev fremstillet af røgmalt fra bryggeriets eget malteri. Stakitøl var en overgæret, mørk øl, der havde en røget smag. Øllet blev leveret i femliters flasker, som blev anbragt i tremmekurve af træ – deraf navnet Stakitøl. I slutningen af 70’erne solgte familien Madsen Ørbæk Bryggeri. I årene indtil 1994 havde bryggeriet skiftende ejere – ejerskiftene skyldtes den stigende konkurrence på øl og sodavand fra større bryggerier. I starten af 90’erne blev den daværende ejer nødt til at lukke. I 1997 overtog Niels og Nicolai Rømer Ørbæk Bryggeri og har siden arbejdet koncentreret med at fremstille økologiske produkter. Ørbæk Bryggeri producerer i dag primært øl, men har også en spændende serie af sodavand og juice, der føres under navnet NaturFrisk og senest er bryggeriet begyndt at lancere udsøgte cidere. Den økologiske tankegang hænger tæt sammen med ønsket om, at kunderne får gode smagsoplevelser hver gang. Bryggeriets filosofi er, at man ved at anvende udsøgte, økologiske råvarer i en økologisk brygningsproces bedst bevarer de forskellige råvarers egenskaber og på den møde opnår, at alle øl smager unikt.
